…and we made our best return so we gave 10% of it away to a range of good causes, good business makes good business sense, as one of our clients says! More important than the money is that we got to work with some wonderful people on some very meaningful projects.
 

Arcelor Mittal

In March 2006 we were commissioned by Kirsten Ireland to work with her on developing and activating the Corporate Social Responsibility strategy at Arcelor Mittal, the world’s biggest Steel company.

Kirsten has recently moved on leaving a powerful legacy in the form of a clear and challenging CSR strategy which will greatly improve the welfare of the people who work in Arcelor Mittal, and the communities impacted by their operations around the world. Activation kicked off with the Steel plant and its key stakeholders in Kazakhstan this December.

KPMG

In January we began consulting for one of the worlds best known consultancies, KPMG, working initially with the UK Internal Audit department on vision, strategy and team development, of course as the Dalai Lama’s teacher said to him when he was a boy “things change Kundun”, so we now find ourselves helping extend our brief to assist and advise on their internal European merger.

The people’s voice
At the end of 2005 and again in 2006 and 2007 we were involved with three large and national public consultations about the future of healthcare, pensions and nuclear power that will guide government policy for the future – controversial but a real chance to help people challenge and shape government thinking.

This year Ros became a Trustee for WOMANKIND Worldwide which helps women across the globe to have a distinctive say in what goes on in their family, community and country. It helps courageous individuals to challenge the status quo and achieve change.
